Terms of Service
Terms governing the use of the Pipe Home app and related devices.

1. Acceptance
By creating an account, installing the App, or using Pipe Home devices, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms together with the Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Account
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for any activity under your account.
- One person should have one official account. Households should use the “members” feature instead of sharing passwords.
- Registration information must be accurate. Misrepresented accounts may be suspended without notice.
3. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use:
- The Pipe Home mobile App (iOS + Android)
- Gateway firmware and updates
- The accompanying cloud service
The license remains in effect until your account is deleted or you breach these Terms.
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the App / firmware (except to the extent the law allows)
- Access the backend in unauthorized ways, scrape APIs at abusive rates, or generate abnormal load
- Resell the service to third parties without an agreement with us
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- Violate Vietnamese or international law
- Record or surveil others without consent (see Camera Policy)
- Send spam, attack systems or distribute malware
- Infringe on others’ privacy
5. Service availability
We strive to keep the service stable but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The service may be paused for:
- Maintenance, upgrades
- Issues with our infrastructure provider
- Force majeure events (storms, undersea cable cuts, regional internet outages)

6. Warranty disclaimer
To the extent allowed by law, the service is provided “as is”, with no implied warranties of:
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Uninterrupted / error-free operation
- Perfect compatibility with third-party devices
ℹ️ [TO BE UPDATED] Hardware warranty for the gateway will be specified in the documentation included with the product at sale.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for:
- Indirect damages (lost profits, lost data)
- Damages from misuse (unsafe rule configurations causing harm)
- Acts of third parties (Google, Tuya, Firebase) outside our control
Our total liability (if any) does not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the incident. For users on the free tier, the limit is 0 VND.
8. Termination
You may end use at any time by deleting your account.
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You breach these Terms
- We detect fraud or abuse
- The law requires it
When an account is terminated, personal data is handled per section 6 of the Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual property
- The brand names “Pipe Home” and “mPipe”, the logo, and all website content are owned by us (or our licensors).
- You may not use these marks for commercial purposes without our written consent.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Disputes (if any) will be resolved by the courts of competent jurisdiction in Vietnam, unless agreed otherwise.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. For material changes, we’ll notify you by email and an in-app banner 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new version.
