Delete Account
How to delete your Pipe Home account and all associated personal data.
Last updated: 2026-04-27
You have full control over deleting your account and personal data — no support contact required, no reason needed.
What gets deleted
When you request account deletion, the following is marked for deletion immediately:
- Account info (email, name, profile photo)
- Paired devices, names, locations, homes / rooms
- Automation rules, scenes
- Device telemetry history
- Push notification tokens
- Google Smart Home links (OAuth tokens are revoked)
Backups: encrypted aggregate backups are retained for 30 days. After that, your personal data is permanently removed from backups.
Cannot be undone once you delete the account. Before deleting, please export any automations or configurations you want to keep.
Method 1: In-app (recommended)
- Open the Pipe Home app on your phone
- Go to the Profile tab
- Tap Settings
- Tap Delete account
- Read the warning, enter your password to confirm
- Tap Delete permanently
The App will sign you out automatically and confirm once deletion is complete.
Method 2: Email request
If the App is unavailable (or uninstalled), email:
To: legal@mpipe.org Subject: Pipe Home account deletion request Body: Your registered email + confirmation that you want all data deleted
We’ll send a verification link (to confirm the email is yours) and delete the account within 5 business days of successful verification.
Method 3: Web form (P1)
ℹ️ [TO BE UPDATED] A self-service web form at
/account/deleteis in development for phase P1. Once live, it will:
- Ask for your email
- Send a verification link

FAQ
Can I delete part of my data (only devices, not the account)?
Yes. In the App, open a device → tap Delete device. Or delete a home / room to remove all devices it contains. Your account stays.
Will I get a confirmation email after deletion?
Yes. A confirmation is sent to your registered email as soon as deletion completes.
What about backups held by third parties (Google, Tuya)?
- Google Smart Home link: the OAuth token is revoked, so Google can no longer access your data. To remove the link from your Google Home, do this in the Google Home app.
- Tuya link: similarly — unlink in the Tuya app if you have one installed.
